Meet Michael Hamric

Retired and living on disability, Michael Hamric uses SORTS in Ardmore to get him to Walmart and dialysis treatment as well as his medical appointments in Oklahoma City. “If I didn’t have transit, I don’t know what I would do,” Michael says. “I don’t have any family here and my friends all work.” Michael says he knows a lot of people who depend upon SORTS. “In my opinion, Ardmore would be in a lot of trouble if we didn’t have public transportation,” Michael says.
