Meet Rep. Randy Randleman

With a Ph.D. in psychology, Rep. Randy Randleman spent decades working with children and families in the public school system. As a result, he understands the human psyche more than most. When his mother died, his father became a recluse until the family discovered the freedom that public transit offered. “He used the system to go to church and go to the community center,” Rep. Randleman says. “When people like that are able to do that and get a smile back on their face, then I know that transit has done something important for them.” Rep. Randleman says he truly understands that transit connects so many people. “My father met so many people on transit,” he says.
