Meet Stephen Mills

As the city manager of Lindsay, Stephen Mills understands the importance of Delta Area Transit on his community. The transit service takes Lindsay residents and those from surrounding communities to run errands and go to medical appointments. Like all Oklahoma communities, the majority of revenue to fund city activities comes through sales tax. “Delta Transit has a huge economic impact on the city,” Stephen says. “It brings people to town to spend money allowing us to collect sales tax to provide resources to the area, including fire and ambulance services.”
