Della Mae

Public transit means independence for Della Mae Hathorn, who is 100, almost 101. As a First Capital Trolley regular, Della Mae has the freedom to go visit friends, do her grocery shopping and keep her doctors’ appointments. Plus, she loves how helpful the drivers are. “It would be hard for me to get around without them,” Della Mae says. “They get out and load the groceries, I’m kind of spoiled. They are so helpful, I couldn’t do without them.”
