Meet Kittie Saint Claire

Kittie St. Claire loves her job as a driver for Southwest Transit. What she most enjoys is the social interaction especially among the regular riders. “It’s like being a barber or bartender, where your customers talk to you and tell you about their lives,” Kittie explains. “You get close to them and care about them.” Kittie’s regular route includes taking riders to restaurants and clubs on the weekends. “It’s something they wouldn’t be able to do with transit,” Kittie says. “It’s nice to be able to drive them home safely.”
