Meet Kristen Ball

Edmond native Kristen Ball is a student at Oklahoma State University and works on campus. She relies upon the university’s public transit system, free to students, faculty and staff, to get her to campus. “It’s a way for me to get to class and work on time while saving money on parking and reducing emissions from my car as well,” Kristen says. Living with rheumatoid arthritis, Kristen says the transit system makes going to class and work so much easier. “I like riding the bus because it’s not only convenient but it also helps keep me healthy and doesn’t put as much strain on my joints with my arthritis.”
