Meet Ashley Spruill

As a young mother, Ashley Spruill used Red River Transportation to get her son to daycare and herself to school. “I live in Carter and have no car,” Ashley says. “Transit made it so much easier. If I didn’t have Red River Transportation, I would be at home, with no job and living on government assistance.” Now a driver for Red River, Ashley’s riders are mostly elderly residents. “Without transit it would be impossible for them to get out,” she says.
