Meet Kathy Jones

Kathy Jones is retired from retail and now babysits to help make ends meet. She utilizes the public transit in Lawton every day to get her to the store, appointments and, most importantly to her, to take her grandchildren on outings. “I take them to the library, to Elmer Thomas Park, to the movies and to eat,” Kathy says, who is confined to a wheelchair. “They’re almost teenagers and would be bored to death if the bus wasn’t able to take them places.”
