Meet Deonna Morton

Deonna Morton depends upon Cherokee Strip Transit to get her to and from work at the Braum’s in Kingfisher. “It’s a blessing because I don’t have a car and it is how I get to work,” says Deonna. “Sometimes after work they will take me to do a little shopping.” Deonna says the transit system is important to many in the community. “Lots of other people use it to go to work so I know it’s important to them as well,” she says.
